I’m working with Caitie Barker of Caitie Girl’s Restaurant on a series of cooking videos for her website. The restaurant’s great – good food and unique atmosphere, and Caitie is very down-to-earth & fun to hang out with. Here’s the first video – on making Beignets:

February 12, 2009 is Abraham Lincoln’s 200th Birthday (or would be, if he were an immortal). I’ll be celebrating by working for the National Park Service, videotaping their bicentennial events at and around the Lincoln Home site from the 12th to the 15th. They’re all free, so stop by and enjoy some historicatin’ (my new word – use it frequently. Copyright 2009).
Barry Wood, former designer for TLC’s Trading Spaces and current host of HGTV’s show Hidden Potential, is in town this weekend to help promote the Home Builder’s Expo. I met him at the Pasfield House last night – he’s a very nice guy. I’ll post some of the footage soon.
